Responsibilities

• Tour and inspect banquet and meeting spaces daily, reporting repairs as needed.
• Develop persuasive verbal sales presentations for prospective clients.
• Schedule and assign detailed duties to associates for efficient catering operations.
• Solicit new accounts and review past banquet files to generate business.
• Oversee service of group functions and review banquet event orders.
• Write banquet menus, memos, and amenities for VIP guests; forecast events.
• Interact with clients to determine needs and direct staff accordingly; respond to inquiries.
• Create special themes and menus.
• Communicate clearly to staff to provide proper direction.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
