Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Banquet Setup attendant to help prepare and clean banquet spaces for guest events. You will set tables, arrange chairs, and ensure areas are clean and safe before and after functions.

You may assist with AV setup and meal plating while supporting the hotel team to deliver memorable guest experiences. Flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of meeting room setup and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to walk or stand for the majority of shift.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
• Clean meeting space including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and walls.
• Maintain banquet area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Close and lock banquet rooms at function end and day end.
• Take down, stack, and store equipment after events.
• Set up audio/visual equipment using a tablet to control lights and sound.
• Assist with plating and delivering meals to banquet guests.
• Collaborate with hotel team to deliver memorable service.
