Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Red Wolf Convention Center Jonesboro AR is seeking a Banquet Setup team member. You will complete assignments, set up water, amenities, AV, and breaks prior to meetings, and support guest requests with courtesy and professionalism.

You will maintain brand standards, assist with meal service and breakdown, and ensure tools and spaces comply with safety guidelines. Training and a collaborative team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of hospitality or banquet experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments as directed by supervisor or shift leader.
• Ensure water, amenities, AV, and breaks are set up at least 15 minutes before meetings.
• Address guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, informing guests of any extra charges.
• Provide world-class guest service according to OHM and brand standards.
• Set up and clean meeting and function rooms per OHM and brand specifications.
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks and assist with meal service and breakdown as needed.
• Assist in getting banquet guest checks signed and submitted to the front office.
• Follow energy conservation guidelines and safety procedures.
• Handle all equipment and supplies properly.
• Report to work on time, in uniform, as scheduled.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
