Hotel Equities is seeking a Banquet Setup person for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. This role involves placing, servicing, and breaking down ballroom setups per Hilton standards, with heavy physical activity transporting staging, tables, chairs, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include stocking meeting rooms, breaking down spaces after events, and coordinating with managers to deliver exact function specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Setup experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles in meeting rooms.
• Willingness to learn AV system setup.
• Able to lift and move tables/chair up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Breakdown meeting rooms and return to storage for next function.
• Set up and service functions, including physical setup such as staging, tables, chairs.
• Communicate with managers and team members to meet specifications.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting areas to stay presentable.
• Work varying schedules to reflect hotel business needs.
