Job summary

Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa in Hot Springs, AR seeks a part-time Banquet Houseman responsible for clearing linens, glassware, and service items after events and keeping banquet areas clean and organized.

You will work with the Banquet Team to prepare spaces for upcoming events, assist with moving furniture, and comply with safety and dress code policies while delivering friendly, high‑level service to guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience in a hotel preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to tolerate pressure and work calmly, independently, and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Must be self-motivated and organized.
• Ability to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain and clean banquet and service areas after events.
• Clear linens, trash, glassware, plateware, and silverware.
• Assist in moving furniture for event spaces.
• Follow safety standards and report hazards.
• Work with Banquet Team and Banquet Manager on event details.
• Flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to hotel's dress code policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
