Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Banquet Manager to support the Banquet Manager in preparing for events and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms (e.g., tables, staging).
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs. with/without accommodation.
• Extensive physical activity for setup/breakdown during shifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication; adapt style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications.
• Transit materials and arrange room layouts and equipment.
• Supply meeting rooms with glasses and water; maintain cleanliness.
• Break down rooms and return items to storage for next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms/ballrooms; ensure presentability.
