Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a banquet server to assist with guest service during banquet functions. You will set up banquet spaces, greet guests, and ensure smooth service under the direction of the Banquet Manager.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and maintain high standards of hospitality and safety. Prior hotel food & beverage experience is preferred, and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their duties.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods; able to operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details.
• Greet guests and respond to requests politely and promptly.
• Serve courses and clear dishes as guests finish each course.
• Reset banquet room between functions as directed by Supervisor.
