Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions, ensuring a positive guest experience. Set up banquet rooms, attend roll calls, greet guests, and serve food and beverages according to supervisor expectations.

Qualifications include hotel experience, teamwork, knowledge of food and beverage service, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and pitch in to help coworkers.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand long periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll call to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverage per supervisor instructions and clear dishes promptly.
• Comply with state, federal, and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room for subsequent functions as directed.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
