Job summary

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection in Park City, Utah, seeks a Setup Houseperson to organize banquet spaces in line with Auberge standards and client specifications. You will prepare stations, assist servers, and uphold service quality throughout events.

Ideal candidates have high school or equivalent, can stand for long periods, and communicate clearly in English. You will travel to off-site venues as needed and support housekeeping tasks to ensure flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• Anticipate guest service needs with calm, courteous demeanor.
• Communicate in English clearly, both spoken and written.
• Think clearly under pressure and make concise decisions.
• Physically capable of setting up rooms per event standards.
• Stand/walk for long shifts up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of pre-function sidework.
• Be familiar with hotel services and local attractions to answer guest questions.
• Assist Banquet servers and act as Banquet server if needed.
• Set example for service standards, side work, productivity, and professionalism.
• Comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Complete opening/closing side duties.
• Organize stations and ensure readiness for guest arrivals.
• Maintain and complete tasks as directed by management.
• Check storage areas for supplies, organize and correct deficiencies.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Assist in manning the dishpit.
