Job summary

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection, located near Park City, Utah, invites guests to experience luxury hospitality with attentive, personalized service. We are seeking a Banquet Server to support events and lead guest interactions.

You will collaborate with banquet managers, assist in pre-event briefings, manage serving staff during events, handle guest questions, and ensure cleanliness and safety while delivering memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Thank guests and provide a fond farewell.
• Address guest questions and requests using brand or property processes to resolve issues and build trust.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Communicate dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Set tables according to event standards and service style.
• Follow procedures for serving alcohol.
• Record transactions and process payments, including gratuity.
• Comply with safety policies and security procedures.
• Complete closing duties and restock items.

• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell
• Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific processes to resolve issues, delight, and build trust. Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Present physical and accurate check and process payment, adhering to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures including added and received gratuity
• Answer questions on menu selections, and check with kitchen staff whenever additional clarification is necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Set tables according to the type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards
• Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol
• Record transactions in the system at the time of order
• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment
• Follow company and department policies and procedures
• Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to adhere to timelines in completion of set-ups.
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
• Must be highly detail orientated
• At least 2 years of server experience
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
