Job summary

Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne, TX is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to support on-site events. You will assist banquet manager, greet guests, serve courses, and reset rooms between functions.

Hotel experience preferred; flexible scheduling; eligibility for tipped service charges; benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k) with matching, and hotel employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and flexible.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll call to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
• Serve food/beverage in correct order and maintain consistency.
• Remove dishes as meals progress and after service ends.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room for next function per supervisor specs.
• Abide by state/federal/corporate alcohol service rules.
• Be available to work regularly and perform other duties.
