Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Banquet Set-up/Houseman at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne, TX. This on-site, part-time role supports the Banquet Manager by preparing banquet spaces and ensuring a positive guest experience.

The position requires physical work, room setup and breakdown, and clear communication with supervisors and staff to maintain high standards throughout events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move heavy items in crowded rooms with/without accommodations.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 500 lbs with/without accommodations.
• Ability to stand for long periods; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications.
• Transport tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., between storage and rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down meeting rooms after meetings and store for next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms and ballrooms.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties.
