Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is hiring for a Banquet Server to assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces, and to serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner per the hotel's standards. Responsibilities include gathering supplies, greeting guests, replenishing beverages, bus and reset tables, and maintaining cleanliness.

Must comply with liquor regulations and possess a Food Handler Card; strong customer service and English communication skills are

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Gather supplies and set up banquet room as described in the Banquet Event Order.
• Attend stand up meetings before events to learn function particulars and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve food and/or beverages in the order and to the Banquet Captain's specifications.
• Bus dishes promptly as guests finish courses and replenish beverages as needed.
• Clear and reset banquet rooms after events and stage for the next function.
• Perform side work: restock banquet shelves, replenish condiments, and clean as required.
• Follow safety and security procedures and wear protective equipment.
