Responsibilities

• Order supplies by initiating requisitions and processing maintenance work orders.
• Review function sheets and restaurant requisitions; list tasks for the day.
• Prepare mise en place for the day.
• Practice stock rotation, storage, and handling to minimize waste.
• Assist in supervision and/or training of other cooks.
• Keep the work area clean and adhere to health, safety standards.
• Report suspicious persons in the kitchen.
• Organize outlet orders and needs.
