Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations across our event venues. You will lead the setup/operations team, supervise staff during service and breakdown, and ensure guest satisfaction and safety standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, at least 5 years of banquet setup experience in large venues, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of banquet setup experience in large/high-volume venue.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical duties.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Familiar with safety policies and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, service, and closing for assigned areas, keeping venue standards and cleanliness.
• Supervise bartending, catering, and concessions staff during all event phases.
• Train and motivate team members to deliver high-quality service.
• Organize storage areas, rotate stock, and maintain end-of-month inventory.
• Coordinate with operations, culinary, and management for seamless events.
• Address guest needs and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Attend weekly meetings and pre-conference planning as assigned.
