LTD Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet Captain to organize and execute event details for our Chesapeake-area venues. The role focuses on leading the banquet team and ensuring flawless service during events.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of banquet experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. This full-time position offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.
• At least 2 years of banquet experience.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Has a sincere desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of banquet operations.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate prompt, courteous banquet food, beverage, meeting and audio-visual services.
• Supervise meeting and meal set-ups, turnovers, and all meal functions.
• Train and directly supervise banquet team members to ensure service standards and staffing levels.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Provide hands-on support and service to guests.
• Resolve day-to-day issues.
• Ensure room setup aligns with function; check BEO.
• Conduct inventories and report food and supply needs.
• Maintain sanitation standards in kitchen areas and minimize waste and theft.
• Other duties as assigned.
