Job summary

Concord is hiring a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet staff and coordinate all food and beverage service with the Banquet Manager. You will ensure excellent guest service at weddings, meetings, and events in our hotel venues.

The role emphasizes leading a motivated team, greeting guests, answering menu questions, and overseeing setup, service, and post-event cleanup to ensure a flawless experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet or events service preferred.
• Strong guest-focused service with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate large events.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Lead the team with motivation and direction to meet quality standards.
• Greet guests and accommodate needs during events.
• Communicate with guests about menu questions and service details.
• Deliver food and beverages from staging to guests as needed.
• Assist other servers during peak periods.
• Train others in plated and reception-style service.
• Anticipate guest needs and monitor dining experience for satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Oversee setup, execution, and cleanup for events.
• Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
• Keep service areas clean and safe; maintain professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
