Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in a related role.
• HEI banquet/catering knowledge and operations.
• Experience in hotel operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Team player with flexibility and willingness to pitch in.
• Proficiency with computer equipment and office software.
• Ability to manage time and budgets.
• Familiarity with SOPs, safety rules, and hospitality law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the Banquet associates including captains, servers, lead housemen, and housemen.
• Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, coach and counsel, resolve problems, provide open communication, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee daily banquet operations, ensure proper setup, and compliance with SOPs and event orders.
• Meet with customers to review Banquet Event Orders and discuss changes or issues.
• Calculate and present banquet checks for payment accuracy.
• Prepare and review daily service charges and payroll reports for accounting.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of banquet areas and equipment.
• Ensure attendance and regular work availability.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
