Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Banquet Operations Manager to lead banquet staff and uphold high guest-satisfaction standards within budgeted goals. You will ensure timely, courteous service of food and beverages and oversee daily banquet operations including wine, spirits, and service techniques.

The role requires 3+ years in banquet settings with supervisory experience, industry certifications preferred, and a passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of banquet experience, with some supervisory experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Training preferred and Food Handler Certification.
• Ability to get along with staff and guests; strong hospitality mindset.
• Passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences and taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of banquet operations and manage all floor staff.
• Advocate for the property and develop relationships with guests to encourage return visits.
• Collaborate closely with chefs and cooks to ensure quality food and service.
• Foster a multifaceted, teamwork-driven environment.
• Ensure guests are served promptly, courteously, and with a high level of service.
