Job summary

Invited in Massachusetts is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee all banquet operations, ensuring flawless event execution and high-quality member and guest experiences. You will manage setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining Invited service standards.

Lead banquet staff, schedule and train teams, review BEOs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and communicate with event hosts to guarantee satisfaction during and after events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant, banquet, or club-related field.
• Preferred certifications: Food Handlers’ Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC Certification, CPR, Food Safety Program, HFWACT.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs; physical stamina for long events.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and performance manage banquet service personnel.
• Implement and facilitate training programs to maintain service standards.
• Coordinate staffing with Event Sales Director for private functions.
• Review BEOs and logs to ensure accurate room setups.
• Oversee timely service of food and beverages; ensure safety and quality.
• Manage room breakdown and setup per event standards.
• Open banquet operations and maintain proper documentation in logs.
• Greet members and guests by name; address needs throughout events.
