Job summary

Invited is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee all banquet operations, ensure flawless event execution, and deliver exceptional member and guest experiences. You will lead setup, service, and teardown, uphold Invited service standards, and coordinate staffing with the banquet team for each function.

You will recruit, train, and manage banquet service staff, work with the Event Sales Director on event prep, and maintain safety and quality guidelines throughout every event.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant, banquet, or club-related field within the food & beverage industry.
• Preferred certifications: Food Handlers’ Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC Certification, CPR Certification, Food Safety Program, and HFWACT.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and performance manage banquet service personnel according to club procedures.
• Implement and facilitate training programs, including service training, to maintain well-trained staff in-line with Invited service standards.
• Communicate with the Event Sales Director during event preparation to ensure proper staffing and seamless execution of private functions.
• Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and daily logs to understand function details, ensuring room setups correspond with function sheets.
• Oversee the timely service of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to Invited standards of service and quality.
• Monitor events to ensure food is served on time, obtain guest satisfaction, and complete necessary accounting paperwork.
