Job summary

Invited is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet operations, ensuring flawless event execution and exceptional member and guest experiences. You will lead setup, service, and breakdown while upholding Invited service standards and safety guidelines.

You'll recruit and develop banquet staff, coordinate with the Event Sales Director, review BEOs, and ensure timely service and accurate billing. A high school diploma and 2+ years in F&B are required; many certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant, banquet, or club-related field within the food & beverage industry.
• Preferred certifications and trainings: Food Handlers’ Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC, CPR, Food Safety Program, HFWACT.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and performance manage banquet service personnel according to club procedures.
• Implement and facilitate training programs to maintain well-trained staff in-line with service standards.
• Communicate with Event Sales Director to ensure proper staffing and seamless execution of private functions.
• Review banquet event orders and daily logs to align room setups with function sheets.
• Oversee timely service of food and beverages and maintain service standards.
• Monitor events, confirm host satisfaction, and complete billing and paperwork.
• Manage room breakdown and setup per function book.
• Execute opening procedures for the banquet department and prep rooms per standards.
• Record information in the MOD log for next shift.
• Provide warm welcomes and meet guest needs throughout events.
• Ensure side work is completed and sanitary conditions are maintained.
• Interact professionally with members and guests; accommodate changes as needed.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
