Job summary

The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC seeks a Banquet Cook to lead by example and participate hands-on in all banquet production and service. You will maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold Quality and Sanitation standards set by the Executive Chef.

Role requires flexibility to work breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea services, and shifts during peak hotel activity, with opportunity to contribute to a strong culinary team and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Lead by example and work collaboratively with the team.
• Experience in banquets kitchen operations and service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example through hands-on involvement in all aspects of banquet production and service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspace as per Executive Chef standards.
• Coordinate with Banquet Chef and Banquet Chef de Partie and report to them.
• Ensure quality and sanitation standards are upheld during breakfast, lunch, brunch, and tea services.
• Work shifts aligned with peak hotel activity.
