Job summary

Hotel Revival Baltimore is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations and drive exceptional guest experiences during events and banquets. The role emphasizes coordination with banquet teams, precise setup, and delivering hospitality with warmth and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related hospitality or service experience.
• State-issued food handling + beverage certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before guests and groups.
• Ability to operate computer and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Review BEOs and coordinate with Banquet Manager/Captain for details.
• Ensure event space setup and equipment are in place as required.
• Assist in event prep by arranging tables, settings, buffets, bar supplies.
• Greet guests with a warm, genuine welcome and professional service.
• Prepare and serve beverages, verify age for alcohol service.
• Maintain communication with kitchen staff and notify of changes.
• Ensure quality and presentation of food and accommodate dietary needs.
• Clear and clear dirty dishes; return equipment after service.
• Re-set tables and tidy space post-event; sweep and mop as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback; inform supervisor and apply corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet outlet needs via emails, logs, and meetings.
