Job summary

The Lofton Hotel Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to lead meetings, weddings and events while overseeing banquet operations. You will coordinate setup, service, and staff to ensure every guest experience meets our high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating with food production, managing budgets, and maintaining records. Excellent English communication and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2 years of Food & Beverage supervisory experience.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; POS systems knowledge.
• Strong English reading, writing and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, supervise, and counsel staff for efficient operation.
• Ensure the highest quality of food, beverage, and service in banquet areas.
• Direct and coordinate activities of all assigned personnel; train standards.
• Coordinate banquet service needs with food production.
• Maintain cross-department communication for guest satisfaction.
