Intercontinental Riverfront St. Paul is seeking a Banquets and Events Manager to lead our Banquets department for weddings, fundraisers, meetings, luncheons, and more.

This hands-on role supervises banquet staff, ensuring flawless event delivery and serving as a pivotal communicator between all parties. The role involves weekend work and a varying schedule to meet weekly event demands, with focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards across all banquet

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Food & Beverage; management experience in catering or hotel settings preferred.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of hotel F&B operations, including alcohol service, menus, and service standards.
• Ability to multitask and supervise diverse banquet service teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing banquet inventories, assets, and equipment upkeep.
• Schedule banquet staff to forecast demand and uphold service standards.
• Lead shifts and participate in servicing events to ensure flawless execution.
• Coordinate with kitchen and events teams to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
• Aim to enhance guest satisfaction and retain groups for future events.
