Job summary

Uniland Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Set-up Staff to prepare event spaces for weddings, corporate meetings, and banquets, ensuring equipment and service ware are ready before service.

This part-time on-call role requires weekend/holiday availability and flexibility. Duties include setting up rooms, coordinating with servers and culinary staff, and breaking down after events.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior banquet or hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet/food and beverage experience preferred.
• Fast-paced guest service background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review event orders and set up spaces with tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Arrange service ware and buffet stations per event plan for smooth service.
• Set up rooms on time and ensure appearance meets standards.
• Coordinate readiness with servers, culinary staff, and supervisors.
• Transport and place chinaware, glassware, and equipment safely.
• Break down spaces after events and return items to storage or wash area.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms and storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures and use approved cleaning products.
• Attend meetings and perform other assigned banquet support duties.
