Graves Hospitality Corporation is seeking an On-Call Banquet Houseman to support setup, teardown, and overall banquet operations. The right candidate is dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented, with flexibility for on-call schedules and evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role involves arranging event spaces, moving equipment, cleaning banquet areas, and assisting the banquet team during events, with a focus on safety, organization, and guest-ready spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual with flexible, on-call hours.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull furniture and equipment.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Experience in banquets/hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors and equipment as per diagrams.
• Prepare banquet rooms for weddings, meetings, conferences, banquets, and functions.
• Tear down setups and return items to storage after events.
• Assist with room flips and quick turnarounds between events.
• Transport tables, chairs, linens, supplies, and equipment around the facility.
• Support banquet servers, bartenders, staff, and management as needed.
