Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and set up function rooms according to the BEO.
• Know the location of all function rooms and the various event setup types.
• Set up and break down all department functions correctly and efficiently, ensuring equipment and furnishings are in place.
• Handle banquet equipment with care, storing and maintaining it to prevent damage or loss.
• Assist guests when possible, referring requests beyond your responsibility to the supervisor or team member.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the function room area and storage spaces at all times.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning of the function room area to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment up to 100 pounds for brief periods.
