Caesars Entertainment is hiring a Cook for our buffet operations in Danville, VA. The role involves preparing a variety of food items in line with the Executive Chef’s requirements and maintaining a clean, high-standard kitchen workspace.

The position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and lift heavy items. Previous banquet or hospitality experience is preferred, with a starting hourly rate of $18.25.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
• Prior experience in banquet service or in the hospitality industry preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, sautés, broiled, fried, baked and grilled items according to kitchen needs.
• Operate grill, fryer, broiler, oven and French top as required.
• Maintain sanitary and organized work area.
• Ensure proper ingredient supply levels and restock as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and chefs.
• Adhere to safety and health codes and company policies.
