Job summary

The Four Points By Sheraton Seattle Airport South is seeking a dedicated Banquet Cook to create memorable dining experiences for weddings, meetings, conferences, and events. You’ll collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for banquets, meetings, weddings, and events according to recipes and hotel standards.
• Assist with banquet food preparation including appetizers, entrées, sides, sauces.
• Ensure food is prepared, portioned, presented, and held at proper temperatures.
• Work with Banquet and Culinary Teams to ensure food is ready for service on time.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Store, label, and rotate food per standards.
• Assist with inventory, prep lists, and waste minimization.
• Communicate with the culinary team about timing and special requests.
• Support other kitchen and banquet operations as needed.
• Contribute to a positive TEAM-oriented kitchen environment.
