Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos in Williamsburg, MI is hiring a Cook to prep, cook, and provide high-quality food and service across multiple outlets. You will help maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards while working shifts in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires strong culinary skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent culinary skills or be able to learn quickly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Highly organized; able to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up, cook and provide quality service in all food production areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Follow guidelines for cooling, labeling and storage of products.
• Work across stations (carving, buffets, deli, steakhouse, etc.).
• Read menus and recipes and perform basic math calculations.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and management.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and ready for shifts.
