Job summary

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and prep lists in English.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
Serve Safe Sanitation training completed or willing to complete.

Responsibilities

Adheres to company methods of food preparation, cooking, portion control, and garnishing.
Sharpens and handles kitchen knives.
Prepares fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and meats according to recipes.
Operates slicing machine, mixer and food processor per standard recipes.
Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
Reads and follows recipes and prep lists; supports daily promotions and station assignments.
Performs special projects as directed by supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
