Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; completion within 6 months may be needed.
• Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older.
• One year high-volume cooking experience or banquet cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions in English; strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to company methods of food preparation, portion control, and garnishing.
• Sharpens and handles kitchen knives; uses slicing machine, mixer, and food processor.
• Preps and handles fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, poultry and seafood.
• Follows standard recipes and specifications; rotates product and maintains sanitation.
• Reads promotions and schedules from pre-shift information; supports quality control and safety standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
