Invited is seeking a Banquet Chef to lead culinary operations for private and member events, focusing on menu development, food preparation, and presentation to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Reporting to the Exec Chef, you’ll manage costs, oversee staff, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with event staff to deliver memorable events while upholding Invited’s commitment to quality and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Valid Health & Sanitation certification as per state regulations.
• Food service management certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, planning, and execution of menus for private events.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to ensure meal production meets event needs and standards.
• Control food and labor costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation and safety across workstations and equipment.
• Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff; manage work schedules.
