Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead the banquet team for all events, ensuring flawless setup, service, and breakdown in a high-volume environment. You will assist in training and scheduling staff, review Banquet Event Orders, and coordinate with managers to guarantee timely execution and guest satisfaction.

Strong communication, leadership, and guest service skills are essential, along with TIPS or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Three or more years’ experience as Banquet Captain in a high volume, upscale hotel.
• Knowledge and understanding of various banquet and food service techniques and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banquet Manager with selection, training, and scheduling of Banquet personnel.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities, ensuring proper setup and timely execution.
• Coordinate activities with Banquet Manager to ensure timely performance of contracted setup, food preparation, and service.
• Conduct pre-shift and pre-function meetings.
