Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking a banquet professional in Nashville to lead banquet teams, coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown, and ensure rooms are set per brand standards and events run on schedule.

You will partner with culinary and beverage teams, supervise staff, coach associates, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. A high school diploma and banquet or hotel F&B experience are required; leadership experience is preferred. Pay is $25 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate event requirements to banquet teams.
• Lead banquet staff during event setup, service, breakdown, and room turnover activities.
• Ensure banquet rooms are set accurately and completed on schedule according to event specifications and brand standards.
• Coordinate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure all food, beverage, and service elements are prepared and delivered on time.
• Monitor event timelines and direct staff to ensure functions begin and conclude as scheduled.
• Oversee room breakdowns and resets to ensure meeting and event spaces are ready for subsequent functions within required timeframes.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings and assign responsibilities to banquet staff.
• Inspect event spaces before, during, and after functions to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Manage multiple event setups, functions, and room turns while maintaining operational efficiency and attention to detail.
• Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring banquet associates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
• Communicate operational challenges, maintenance concerns, and staffing needs to management in a timely manner.

North Point Hospitality was started in 1978 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We build high‑quality hotels in popular areas. Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Pay for this position: $25/hr DOE
