Job summary

TEKsystems in El Monte, CA seeks a detail‑oriented Centralized Processing Specialist II to support back‑office banking operations. This on‑site, contract role emphasizes accurate processing, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial transactions and records.

You will handle daily processing, ACH and wire transfers, and process-related inquiries, ensuring compliance and timely delivery in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking back‑office operations within a financial institution.
• Experience with GL balancing and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of ATM balancing, exception processing, and transaction research.
• Experience handling ACH payments and wire transfers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily transaction processing and GL balancing/reconciliation.
• Process return items, non‑post transactions, exception items, foreign items, ATM balancing, and adjustments.
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and account‑related issues.
• Maintain and administer bank records accurately and within timelines.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Support ACH processing, wire transfers, and other operational functions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Exercise sound judgment and work independently to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing and service delivery.
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines.
