Job summary

TEKsystems in Chicago, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Banking Operations to handle account holder inquiries with accuracy and courtesy. You will log inquiries in the CRM, respond to phone, email, or fax, and provide solutions while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.

As part of a fast-paced investor services team, you will perform transactional processing (ACH, stop payments, wires) and work both independently and as a team member to ensure client satisfaction and risk

Qualifications

• 1+ years in banking or financial services is required.
• 2+ years in a high-volume call center is required.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and banking terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Handle large volumes of inbound/outbound calls with quality service.
• Log inquiries in CRM with detailed issue descriptions and actions.
• Maintain system access and product knowledge through training.
• Provide accurate transactional information to clients to prevent losses.
• Process ACH transfers, stop payments, wires, and general maintenance.
• Identify customer needs, research issues, and propose solutions.
• Work well in a team and independently.
• Develop understanding of core banking operations.
