Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Banking Service Technician to join our customer-focused team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on banking equipment including alarm systems, CCTV, drive-ups, ATMs, vaults and related security devices.

This role emphasizes strong communication, integrity and teamwork as you service customers, mentor peers, and uphold Convergint's safety policies while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with banking system hardware and alarm/security equipment is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; reliable and safety‑minded.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services drive‑up, locksmith, and electronic systems.
• Responds to service calls and performs preventive maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoots and repairs remote units, audio/video equipment, and related networks.
• Mentors less experienced staff and shares technical knowledge.
• Ensures work aligns with manufacturer specs and safety policies.
• Estimates cost, time, and materials for equipment replacement.
• Maintains professional appearance and communicates effectively with team.
• Follows state/local regulations and Convergint policies.
