Job summary

Truist is hiring for a Universal Banker role in the United States, offering regular full-time work on 1st shift. The position emphasizes delivering a distinctive client experience, supporting outbound outreach, and assisting with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to tailor solutions for clients at the branch.

Responsibilities include advising on digital banking tools, processing complex transactions, and contributing to team sales while adhering to compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales via outbound calls and client needs assessments or referrals to branch teams.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to advance product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
