Job summary

Lone Star National Bank is seeking a Service Manager II (SA) in San Antonio, TX to lead and develop the banking center team, ensure achievement of goals, and drive exceptional customer service. You will oversee teller operations, cross-sell bank products, and coach staff to maximize productivity and growth.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, compliance knowledge, and adaptability to evolving financial solutions, with responsibilities reporting to the Banking Center Manager (SA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
• 5 years teller experience or 3 years at Lone Star National Bank
• Prior management experience
• Leadership role experience may substitute for management requirement
• Thorough understanding of corporate business account documentation and consumer loan documentation, including proficiency with BSA/CIP
• Proficient in using personal computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
• Flexible hours Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provides a welcoming environment and communicates effectively with customers and team members
• Leads, coaches, motivates and develops the team to reach full potential
• Manages teller operations including audit, compliance, risk, sales, service and opening/closing
• Oversees hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating and counseling staff
• Cross-sells bank products and refers customers to partners for more complex needs
• Maintains cash drawer balance and assists teller line as needed
• Ensures compliance with banking laws and internal controls
