Job summary

Busey Bank in Rantoul, IL is looking for a Banking Center Manager I to lead sales, service, and operations at a larger banking center. You will mentor the team and drive needs-based selling of bank products to customers and local businesses.

You will report to the Market or Regional Manager, set staffing plans, supervise associates, and ensure Service Excellence while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of banking or management experience in progressively responsible roles at a financial institution or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Pursuant to SAFE Act, all Banking Center Managers (if lending) are required to maintain current NMLS registration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, service, and operations to meet quarterly and annual goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop banking center associates.
• Foster relationships with high-net-worth clients and local businesses.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and privacy regulations.
• Coordinate staffing plans with Market Manager.
• Manage daily operations including cash balancing and opening/closing duties.
