Job summary

Recognition One is seeking a Solutions Engineer focused on Banking and Capital Markets to help customers adopt event-driven architecture and agentic AI, bridging deep technical knowledge with business outcomes for large financial institutions.

You will partner with Account Executives, lead demonstrations and PoCs, guide architectural decisions for modern core banking and capital markets deployments, and travel up to 35% to engage executives and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise architecture or similar within banking/capital markets.
• Specialist understanding of banking/open banking or capital markets.
• Ability to assess technical solutions and communicate business impact.
• Excellent presentation and relationship-building with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Interest in moving to commercial, customer-facing sales engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical demonstrations and PoCs for financial-services prospects.
• Build relationships with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
• Develop fluency in event-driven architecture and AI orchestration capabilities.
• Influence internal best practices around agentic AI and event-driven architectures.
• Stay ahead of trends in EDA, cloud computing, and messaging middleware.
