Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a customer-service oriented teller with a focus on client needs and digital banking education. You will perform transactions, support sales, and assist with IRM activities while maintaining compliance and quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in teller/cash handling or client service, and availability for weekends/extended hours. Training and growth opportunities are provided within Truist’s Retail Banking group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with a high level of service.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound client outreach and identifying needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend trainings and product knowledge sessions to grow expertise.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution
