Job summary

Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, building lasting relationships by offering trusted advice. You’ll guide customers through financial solutions and introduce digital banking options, while collaborating with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.

Role involves outbound calls to acquire new customers, scheduling financial checkups, and following all regulatory requirements. Hours may include weekends and evenings in a branch environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including video interview assessment after applying.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Get to know customers’ personal financial goals and tailor solutions.
• Introduce customers to digital banking and mobile-first transactions.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Adhere to all financial policies and ensure proper cash handling.
