You will verify cash, identify counterfeit currency, answer inquiries about rates and fees, and cross-sell banking products. The role requires a high school diploma and ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year customer service experience.
• Less than 1 year cash handling experience.
• Must take/pass entry level teller assessment within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive deposits and verify cash; issue receipts.
• Examine deposits for funds availability per regulations.
• Process withdrawals and cash handling.
• Identify counterfeit currency.
• Respond to basic inquiries about rates, services, and account history.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Refer issues to appropriate department when needed.
• Balance drawer at shift end and maintain cash logs.
• Close accounts upon request and remove dormant accounts.
• Maintain teller station supplies.
