Job summary

You will support sales efforts, promote banking products, and participate in community activities while adhering to company standards and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required compliance training and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Service customers by processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines.
• Gain manager assistance with suspicious transactions and obtain management approval for transactions outside authorized limits.
• Adheres to all bank compliance, security and operational policies.
• Maintain a cash drawer and balance daily; assist with daily branch duties.
• Open accounts including checking, savings, and basic business accounts; perform changes as requested.
