Job summary

You will greet customers, adhere to bank policies, and balance cash drawers daily while supporting branch operations. Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service and cash handling experience, with a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred.
• Successfully completes required compliance and training curriculum to be proficient in the basic account opening process.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Service customers by accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines.
• Gain manager assistance with suspicious transactions and obtain management approval for transactions outside authorized limits.
• Adheres to all bank compliance, security and operational policies and procedures.
• Maintains a cash drawer and balances daily; assists with branch duties.
• Open and change accounts as requested; supports cross-selling and referrals.
