Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Completion of required compliance and training curriculum for basic account opening.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Service customers by processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines.
• Gain manager assistance with suspicious transactions and obtain management approval for transactions outside limits.
• Adhere to all bank compliance, security and operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a cash drawer and balance daily; assist with branch duties.
• Open accounts (checking, savings, etc.) and modify existing accounts as requested.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience and report to management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and customers.
• Educate customers on alternate delivery systems (ATM, Debit Card, Online, Mobile).
• Maintain knowledge of banking products through training and communications.
